The Story of Kaosfall: The Odyssey
The Fall. The Ascent. The Odyssey.
“First of all, Chaos came to be… and from Chaos, all things arose.”
— Hesiod, Theogony
The Age of the Gods is ending.
For centuries, Zeus and his kin ruled from Olympus, weaving fate, deciding wars, their will carried on lightning, prophecy, and eternal fire. But their age has spiralled into cruelty. Heroes have bled, kingdoms have burned, and the whispers of rebellion spread through every domino. And so, mortals no longer bow with awe. They rise.
In secret caves and ruined temples, whispers spread of an older power:
Kaos.
The raw force that existed before even the gods. Untamed, formless, eternal. Now it seeps into mortal veins—burning them with fragments of divinity: strength to rival demigods, cunning to unravel prophecies, the audacity to challenge Olympus itself.
But Kaos is treachery itself. It does not crown one champion, does not bind itself to one alone. Instead, it sows division like wildfire, until even the gods are ensnared. Mortals, burning with the power of Kaos, manipulate Des Immortales, channeling a sliver of divinity in their quest for victory. Apollo lends his light to many, Athena whispers wisdom to several, Poseidon stirs the seas of rebellion, and even Hades makes pacts in shadow.
Thus begins Kaosfall: The Odyssey.
Not a single war, but a chain reaction of ruin. The odyssey will culminate in blood and fire. Troy, Sparta, Delphi, Athens—the mighty dominos of Greece—collapse one after another into dust. Yet one realm resists all odds: the Underworld. Bound by Hades’ grim power, it will not topple easily. Four times may the earth shake before its gates crumble, and until then it decides its own fate; whether to collapse with the others, or endure until the end.
Far above the ruin towers Mount Olympus. Its marble pillars, carved from the bones of eternity, cannot be toppled by mortals, gods, or Kaos itself. Not until one proves worthy to ascend will Olympus fall. But it can bleed. Here, mortals clash beneath Zeus’s storm-shadow, striking at each other as the Father of Gods watches…and waits.
Rebel leaders rise, armed with mortal armies, cursed monsters, stolen relics, and fragments of divine power. They battle not for survival alone, but for dominion, to usher in a new age. In the age of Kaosfall, to win a mere battle is fleeting; to conquer a domino is to bend an entire realm to your will. Each domino conquered feeds Kaos within, marking you as the one mortal worthy to reach Olympus.
But as mortals grow in power, Zeus senses danger. He fights back with divine order, with logic, with the cold geometry of fate itself. And so he invokes a forgotten mathematician whose works shaped the early minds of Olympus:
Euclid.
Mortals call it Euclid’s Path to Olympus. A spiral of prime numbers carved into fate. As mortals rise closer to Olympus, the path demands sacrifice: divine allies fall away. Apollo’s light dims. Athena’s wisdom slips. Eventually even Poseidon and Hades may recede.
Victory comes at a cost.
The Fates weave treachery at every turn. Allies betray, gods curse, kingdoms collapse. Nothing is sacred, nothing is certain, except that the dominos will keep falling. The odyssey will continue, and war will sweep the land into desolation. And yet mortals climb. Attrition gives way to wisdom. Treachery becomes strategy. When the last domino crumbles, the doors to Olympus will open for one final battle. In the end, only one mortal leader will remain standing atop the ruins, climbing the spiraling Path of Euclid toward Olympus…into the storm above the crags of Mount Olympus…
Where Zeus awaits.
The thunder is already rumbling.
Will you survive this odyssey? Will you be the victor of Kaosfall?
